    Warning Warning Don't put 2 new batteries in the remote it will BURN OUT....DEAD!!

    Works well overall!! Roku is selling inferior remotes on this model 3500 and none available from Roku? Warning Warning Don't put 2 new batteries in the remote it will short it out!!! Make sure one is older battery if over 3 volts total shorts the remote out IMMEDIATELY DEAD REMOTE Inferior remotes!! I used 2 new alkaline batteries from drug store brand at 3.3 volts remote did short out IMMEDIATELY!!!.... DEAD! Use one new and one old battery or remote will burnout!

    Be Careful who you buy your Roku from.

    There is something wrong with the roku i rec'd. this was my 3rd Roku purchase but this purchase is the only one i've had problems with. The first two were purchased directly from the Roku website. This one I bought from an Ebay vendor. I don't know if this was a 'fake' or an off market but every time i use it i have to change the HDMI port the Roku gets plugged into. if i don't i get a big purple screen that says something about unauthorized content and the content is unviewable.

    Good Roku Product

    A bit sluggish on 1240 hdp settings but good on 720. Please make sure to have an HDCP compliant television however. Or get an HDMI splitter. Very convenient though and simple to use.

    The streaming stick performs well although the remote seems to die quickly, I've had 2 sticks and 3 remotes.for some reason the remotes tend to stop working after a short while, since they are not compatible with other roku devices, you have to either pay as much for a new remote or buy another roku.

    Product works well so far with spectrum cable TV

    The only con is that it takes probably 10 seconds or more every time you change the channel or look at the guide..
